Image
Visited Namo Buddha today and shot some of the best views from Thrangu Tashi Yangtse Monastery in the Karma Kagyu tradition, one of the most popular Tibetan Buddhist Monasteries in Nepal. I just enjoyed visiting that place!  Date: April 28, 2018 Time: 2:00 PM - 5:00 PM (Nepali Standard Time: GMT+5:45) For more information regarding Namo Buddha Monastery, I suggest you to visit their official website NamoBuddha.Org , where they have presented every bit of information including their history, branches, and the services monastery has been providing.

A Short Trip to Single Tree | The Best Viewpoint in Kathmandu

Image
I, along with my younger brother and sister, made short trip to Single Tree yesterday. Single Tree is located at some 2 to 3 kilometers northwest of Swayambhunath Temple. It's a hilltop with a single tree and a temple of Akash Devi. I have been to this place many times, alone and with friends and family. I decided to take my younger sister Rejina, who is new in Kathmandu, to visit this awesome viewpoint nearby our residence.  Single Tree I believe offers the best vantage point allowing you to witness outstanding views of Kathmandu valley. If you have already visited this place, you know this well. If you have not visited yet, go try once. I strongly recommend this place for anyone. However it requires little bit of fitness to climb up those steep stairs to reach the Single Tree! And it's worth it!  We had a wonderful time visiting this place! Visit Amideva Buddha Park, Swamabhunath, Kathmandu in the Evening

Image
I stroll around this place in the evening and feel differently refreshed. Visiting Buddha Park in the morning is commonplace. But if you are in Kathmandu, I recommend you to visit this place in the evening too. I am sure you're going to love this place. But be sure to check-in before 7:00 PM because it closes at 7.  Place: Amideva Buddha Park, Swayambhunath, Kathmandu. Date and time: April 20, 2018 [~7:00 PM Nepal Standard Time: GMT+5:45] The Buddha Amideva Park compound is frequented by Buddhist pilgrims and it contains three enormous shining golden statues of Sakyamuni Buddha, a four-armed Chenresig and Guru Rinpoche. The park itself was constructed in 2003.

Watch My Two Cute Little Cousins Playing in our Mustard Field

Image
It was December 2017 when I was back home to attend the wedding ceremony of my sister and I got to interact with those little, innocent and cute cousins of mine. I had a wonderful time having fun and interacting with them. I don't think those days are going to come back again in our lives. I wish their innocence and cuteness never fades with time!
